Easy. It'sa Mario! Why? Because when he wasn't stomping on mushrooms or spitting at dragons, he could fix the plumbing, and that's a skill useful no matter what level you happen to be.

I'd like to have Ratchet. He is, apparently, an accomplished mechanic, so would probably be useful to someone like me, who is a fan of old cars. Although I must say, other than that fleeting shot of space ship repair at the start of the first Ratchet and Clank, there isn't a lot of evidence for his work.

Would have to be Gordon Freeman. He looks great in a hazard suit and god knows he can really wield a crowbar. Plus you could touch his beard...fuzzy.

Seriously though, he'd be great as backup in any situation, cool, calm and collected. Just what you need.
